7 Effective Natural Solutions For COUGH


The common cough can be harmless, but we all of us know how disrupting, irritating and painful it is. Some times it may indicates a more serious illness. The reasons why we cough are infections, nasal discharge, cigarette smoking or other tobacco usages, viral illness, allergies, exposure to dust, Asthma, Air pollution, sinus etc..

1. Ingredients:

mustard and honey
  • Mustard powder
  • Honey

Method :

  • Take 1 teaspoon of Mustard powder and mix it with water.
  • Make a fine paste and add 1 teaspoon of honey to it.
  • This method works significantly towards reducing cough.

2. Ingredients:

ginger sugar honey cumin
  • Dried ginger
  • Sugar
  • Honey
  • Cumin powder(jeera)

Method :

  • Make a fine powder with dried ginger.
  • Take a pinch of cumin powder and sugar.
  • Add some honey to all the above ingredients and have it.
  • Do this at least twice a day and your coughing shall ease.

3. Ingredients:

cinamon cloves ginger honey
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Clove powder
  • Dried ginger powder
  • Honey and Water

Method :

  • Take one tea glass of water.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon powder, 1/4 teaspoon of Clove powder, 1/2 teaspoon of dried ginger powder and 1 teaspoon of honey to the water and drink.
  • The taste might be weird but it works wonderfully.

4. Ingredients:

  • Dried ginger
  • Cloves
  • Honey

Method :

  • Take equal proportions of Cinnamon, dried ginger, and cloves.
  • Make a fine powder with the above ingredients.
  • Take one glass of water, mix the prepared powder to it and boil.
  • Allow it to turn luke warm and filter
  • Add 1 teaspoon of honey to it and sip slowly.
  • It soothes your dry irritating throat and calms your cough as well.

5. Ingredients:

ginger and honey
  • Ginger juice
  • Honey

Method :

  • Mix 1 teaspoon of ginger juice with 1 teaspoon of honey and heat it.
  • Have this mixture every night before bed.
  • After one week of regular use the cough will be gone completely.

6. Ingredients:

sugar and ginger
  • Ginger
  • Sugar

Method :

  • Take a small piece of ginger and add a pinch of sugar to it.
  • Chew it to get faster relief from cough.

7. Ingredients:

coriander pepper ginger jagery
  • Coriander seeds
  • Black pepper corns
  • Dried Ginger
  • Jaggery

Method :

  • Take 1 tea spoon of Coriander seeds, 1 tea spoon of Black Pepper corns and Dried Ginger.
  • Mash all the above ingredients roughly, but don't grind it.
  • Mix the mashed powder with water and bring it to boil for 20mins.
  • Finally add some Jaggery to the boiling water and allow the mixture to get luke warm.
  • Have this twice a day (morning and evening).
  • This is the easiest and quickest way to handle cough and cold.
